What to expect:

Comprehensive training: As part of the Trainee Program, you will get to know the Legal Service & Innovation department. You will be accompanied by a personal mentor.
Responsible and exciting tasks: Right from the start, you will support in day-to-day business and strategic projects. You will handle communication with our colleagues from 19 international branches and subsidiaries, foster collaboration, and gain insights into various business models and legal frameworks across locations. Your responsibilities will also include legal assessments on various aspects of case handling in individual countries and cross-border claims processing.
Broad area of responsibility: You work in various operational and strategic areas of international cooperation to optimize claims management (applications of artificial intelligence, legal tech), such as customer journey and digital legal services, and are part of interdisciplinary project teams – nationally and internationally.
International networking: You will gain experience and build up knowledge at an operational and strategic level by working at different locations, in various business areas and departments, giving you the opportunity to build up an international, group-wide network.

Functie-eisen

Completed studies: You have successfully completed your law degree (LL.B, LL.M, or JD) or your master’s degree, ideally in (international) business law, international management, or a related field.
Practical experience: You have gained initial experience through internships, working student activities or in a junior position, ideally in an international environment.
Intercultural competence & mobility: Through your initial experience abroad, you have developed an interest in intercultural tasks and are willing to take on projects abroad.
Agile mindset & digital affinity: You convince with strong communication skills, a confident and winning demeanor, as well as innovative thinking and action. You are characterized by your above-average commitment and digital affinity, and you enjoy working in a team.
Strong language skills: You are fluent in written and spoken English (at least C1 level) and have at least B1 level proficiency in German or Dutch.

If your application is convincing, we will invite you to complete an online questionnaire and participate in an initial interview via MS Teams. In the second step, you will have a virtual interview with a representative from the specific department. The final selection of participants for the Trainee/Graduate Program will take place in the first half of September as part of an Experience Day at our ARAG Tower in Düsseldorf. From October 2024, you can start with us as a new ARAG trainee/graduate!
